Easy Mushrooms & Asparagus
1 lb fresh mushrooms
1 lb fresh asparagus
8 thin slices fresh gingerroot
¼ c vegetable oil
Salt and pepper to taste
¼ tsp sugar
Slice mushrooms. Cut asparagus into diagonal slices. Chop gingerroot. Stir fry asparagus and gingerroot in vegetable oil in wok or skillet over medium heat for 1 minute. Sprinkle with salt. Add mushrooms, pepper and sugar. Stir fry for 1 minute longer. Serves 4.
